Each book is accompanied by a tailored package, adopted to its level and length. Our goal is to accompany students on a rich and meaningful educational journey while they expand their vocabulary and understand grammar rules, idioms, and much more.

The materials were developed by Sharon Levit, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, specializing in Education for Children with Hearing Impairments and Language Skill Development from Tel Aviv University.
Sharon brings years of experience working individually with children as an elementary and middle school teacher in Israel (Israeli Ministry of Education). After moving to the USA with her family, she began developing learning kits (lesson plans) for teaching Hebrew through books, driven by her family's personal needs.
The learning kits were developed with a strong emphasis on creating curiosity, interest, and an engaging learning experience. Meticulous attention was paid to how the educational material was delivered to students. This is to enable Israeli parents around the world to preserve the Hebrew language among their children.
The learning kits are also designed to suit educators who wish to develop activities for teaching Hebrew.

We at Shorashim would be delighted if the kits we developed were used by Hebrew educators around the world, all to enable children living abroad to preserve the Hebrew language.

Your home for studying Hebrew uniquely and experientially. On our website, unique learning kits combine book reading with an innovative linguistic-cognitive method developed for children aged 6-16.

How can I know which level is suitable for my child?

Great question! Soon, a short placement test will be available on the website to help you choose the right kit. In the meantime, you are also welcome to contact us for personal consultation and guidance.
Can the kits be purchased in physical stores?

The kits are available exclusively through our website at this stage.
Where can I get the reading books included in the various kits?

We are working to create partnerships with publishers to enable convenient purchase of the books directly through our website. Until the process is complete, we recommend obtaining the books in digital or printed format through the publishers' websites or online bookstores. For your convenience, we will soon provide suitable purchase links on the page of each kit.
Is it possible to have online lessons based on the Shorashim kits?

Due to increasing demand from our customers, we are pleased to announce that the Shorashim team is working on developing an online lesson system! Once launched, the system will allow registration for virtual lessons guided by experienced teachers, who will teach your children based on the various learning kits. We will update you when this option becomes available. Stay tuned!
How long will I have access to the kit materials?

Your purchase grants you full access to all kit materials. You can use and revisit them at your own pace whenever you like.
Do you have kits for preschool children as well?

Our kits are currently designed for elementary school children. We are considering expanding to younger ages in the future.
What is included in each kit?

Each kit includes detailed lesson plans covering the topics taught in the lesson, pedagogical highlights, and a description of the lesson's structure. Additionally, the kit contains a worksheet for the lesson, a game to wrap up the lesson, and a homework sheet. Occasionally, we will include supplementary worksheets to enhance the kit's primary materials. You can see an exact breakdown of each kit's contents in the Learning Kits section of our website.
